RedCoats are the face of Playhouse Square to nearly one million guests who attend more than one thousand curtains each year, all of which contributes in excess of $43 million to the local economy annually.  

RedCoats believe so strongly in our mission that they are willing to pledge their time and talents to Playhouse Square. Last year, they contributed more than 145,000 volunteer hours.

Volunteers are assigned to work a certain day/evening with an an average of 4-5 hours per assignment. Duties include greeters, ticket scanners, ushers, wheelchair escorts and general event related positions. Walking up steps and standing are also requirements of the job.
