Event Description

Mandel JCC of Cleveland presents the eighth annual Shining Star CLE, the premier solo-singing competition of Northeast Ohio. The Finals is a professionally produced performance featuring the most talented local high school singers in an “American Idol” style competition. Watch in amazement as the Top 10 Finalists and 2 alternates take center stage at Playhouse Square to compete for a total of $18,500 in college scholarships. A celebrity panel of judges choose the top four winners, and then the audience joins the judges in voting for the scholarship winners. 

This extraordinary event brings together families from across Northeast Ohio to celebrate these talented teens and to raise meaningful funding for a broad range of Mandel JCC programs and services that support healthy aging adults, youth, arts & culture, and scholarships.

$250 VIP ticket includes:

• Admission to the Pre-Performance VIP Reception 5:30 p.m.
• Preferred seating at The Finals
• Parking Pass
