Hospitality Runner

Part Time Position

Rate of pay: $17 per hour

DESCRIPTION

1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.
2. Implement all contractual hospitality requirements, ensure the comfort of performers and serve as liaison between Playhouse Square and artist and artist's staff.
3. Provide accurate and timely knowledge of local conditions to artist and artist's staff, i.e. directions, drugstore, restaurants, recreation, doctors, etc.
4. Assign dressing rooms in consultation with production team.
5. Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
6. Distribute linens and towels as needed and gather them for laundry pickup at end of load out.
7. Wash dishes and do laundry as needed.
8. Provide transportation for artists and crews and run errands, as needed.

Qualifications

1. Outgoing, people oriented person, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
2. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
3. Excellent verbal communication skills.
4. Knowledge of current PC hardware and software.
5. Physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
6. Ohio Driver’s License; clean driving record.
