Retention Coordinator, Sales and Marketing

Responsibilites

  1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.
  2. Work with the Senior Special Projects Manager, Sales to develop a variety of retention initiatives for the Ticket Sales and Service (TS&S) Department.
  3. Assist with the coordination of special events for the TS&S Department, including receptions, themed events and offsite opportunities/activations.
  4. Assist with communications and website maintenance that support retention initiatives for various Playhouse Square season ticket holders.
  5. Curate and oversee the completion of the weekly Buzz newsletter for KeyBank Broadway Series Season Ticket Holders.
  6. Work with the Playhouse Square District Perks Program stakeholders to coordinate and communicate all aspects of the program, including but not limited to partner benefits, electronic messages and special events.
  7. Provide retention support for the Children’s Theater Series on an as-needed basis. 
  8. Research, order and maintain a regular supply of retention item stock for the TS&S Department.
  9. Maintain a record of all retention initiatives achieved throughout the year.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

    1. Degree in Marketing, Communications, or prior experience in customer service/retention.
    2. Competency in current PC hardware and software (Microsoft Suite).
    3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    4. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
    5. Outgoing, people-oriented person with outstanding interpersonal skills.
    6. Special event and promotional experience are preferred.
    7. Ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted.
    8. Flexible schedule to work night and weekend hours as needed.
