Ticket Operations Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.
  2. Publish and maintain all show and event listing pages and visuals on playhousesquare.org and tickets.playhousesquare.org.
  3. Provide daily ticket counts, audits, and settlement reports for all promoters, rentals, and producing companies.
  4. Update and maintain complimentary ticket offers for Playhouse Square employees in the ticketing system.
  5. Coordinate all details of the scanning system.
  6. Process ticket orders from outside promoters and Broadway shows before shows arrive in town as well as special ticketing for other Playhouse Square departments (graduations, etc.)
  7. Run daily processes to report and correct balances due, undistributed payments, and un-allocated orders.
  8. Supervise part-time Ticket Operations Representatives
  9. Facilitate process of contacting guests and processing refunds due to cancelled/postponed performances.
  10. Coordinate all aspects of bill plan, including email notifications to season ticket holders, outbound calls and reporting.
  11. Research chargebacks, submit our point-of-view and justification and see to completion.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  2. Outgoing, people oriented person with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Box Office ticketing experience preferred.
  5. Knowledge of current PC hardware and software.
  6. Ticketing systems and database experience, preferred.
