Ticketing Concierge, Box Office/Ticket Sales and Service

Salary Range: $13.00-$15.00*/hour

*Eligible for $15 after a successful 90 days. 

Part Time: 12-19 hours per week (3 shifts minimum availability)

Flexible scheduling available 7 days a week between 8:30am and 9:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the department.
  2. Assist patrons face-to-face during events at the Box Office, answer inbound calls, patron emails and return related voicemails while providing exemplary service and action.
  3. Generate revenues while delivering exemplary service in the Box Office and over the phone through the sale of all Playhouse Square products, along with donations, donor memberships, gift cards, and experiential packages.
  4. Consistently complete an inbound and outbound daily call volume quota provided by management commensurate with hours if scheduled outside of the Box Office in Ticket Sales & Service. Eligible for incentives upon training completion and campaign assignment.
  5. Remain up to date with all Playhouse Square District businesses, events, performances, digital ticketing, and procedures to aid in creating experiences for all Playhouse Square guests and always being a solution source.
  6. Accurately input and maintain patron data and sales documentation. Maintain any sales logs or communication as requested by management through Playhouse Square technology and methodologies including but not limited to AV, Salesforce, and Setmore.
  7. Consistently meet or exceed sales and donation goals as established by management.
  8. Execute the deliverables of experiential programs i.e. Key Moments, first time visit and future promotions.
  9. Balance cash drawer and prepare individual daily deposit for all Box Office shifts.
  10. Assist in other departments and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  1. Previous direct/phone sales and customer service experience preferred. Familiarity with the performing arts is a plus.
  2. Excellent technical skills with the ability to assist customers with digital ticketing needs, prior experience with digital ticketing in a customer service setting a plus.
  3. Outgoing, people-oriented person, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  4. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  5. Displays creativity and personal accountability in the workplace.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  7. Knowledge of current PC hardware and software.
