In anticipation of Thursday’s virtual performance and Q&A with stars from the North American tour of Disney’s Frozen (have you RSVP’d yet? A limited number of spots still remain here!), we’re challenging your family to throw a viewing party at home! We’ve put together a little celebration of our own to help get the ideas going:
Coronation Cupcakes
Funfetti cake mix, vanilla frosting and a few drops of blue food coloring make for an easy way to celebrate Elsa of Arendelle’s coronation day! We topped with sprinkles and blue M&M’s for a festive flair.
A Snack for Sven
What would everyone’s favorite reindeer eat during a party? Carrots of course! We mixed ranch dressing and Greek yogurt together for dipping, but you can also use hummus, guacamole or tzatziki.
Olaf’s Favorite?
For the enchanted snowman in your life, how about some dessert Chex? We thought the powdered sugar looks like a snowy treat, but can be enjoyed anytime- especially “In Summer!”
Kristoff’s Ice Cubes
This good-natured ice harvester would want something just as fun as him, so we made “ice cubes” out of Berry Blast Jello and layered with whipped cream for a yummy parfait!
Crystallized Ice Blasts
What is a Frozen party without some “fractals?” Rock candy makes great décor and is fun to eat!
We decorated by unpacking some of our holiday décor! We used snowflakes and winter-themed objects to make it look like we’re celebrating in the North Mountain.
Your Turn! What will your family be doing on Thursday for this special live stream event? We want to know! Take a picture of your party and tag @PlayhouseSquare and #FrozenCLE to share your fun.
