Fish fry season in Northeast Ohio is o-*fish*-ally upon us! A tradition during the Lenten season, locations across the region offer specials on Fridays, including a number of Playhouse Square District restaurants. So, if you’re looking to plan your pre-show meal, we’ve got you covered with our fish fry guide.
The Friars’ Table
The PSQ District’s newest dining destination, The Friars’ Table, is serving fish fry specials every Friday during Lent, including Good Friday. The restaurant is offering two dishes for lunch: fried cod or fried shrimp served with chips and coleslaw; while fried cod or fried shrimp with coleslaw and mac & cheese are available for dinner. These specials can be ordered for both dine-in or carry-out.
The restaurant’s menu also regularly features other fish dishes including Salmon St. Celestine and Fish a la Mont Athos for dinner and a fish sandwich for lunch.
Hofbräuhaus Cleveland
Hofbräuhaus Cleveland is raising a glass to fish fry season with a variety of special menu items. The Lenten menu in the bierhall features shrimp Caesar salad, crab cakes shrimp po' boy, cod sandwich, stecklerfisch, bier battered haddock, cod & pierogies and potato & cheese pierogies.
Fridays at the Haus always include live music from local bands. So, grab your family or a group of friends for a fun start to the weekend! Prost!
Yours Truly
Located in the Halle Building in the PSQ District, Yours Truly offers fish fry specials every Friday of the year! Guests can choose from the fish fryday entrée, which includes lightly battered filet of cod, coleslaw and cottage fries or red skins, or the tavern fish sandwich. Yours Truly’s menu also features a filet of cod and grilled salmon that you can order any day of the week!
