Playhouse Square Partners Takes Center Stage with Jump Back Ball Fundraiser

This winter, Northeast Ohioans can treat themselves to a sweet escape while raising funds to support educational programming that benefits more than 100,000 students throughout the region. Playhouse Square’s annual Jump Back Ball event, hosted by the organization’s young professionals group Partners, is taking place March 1, 2025, with the theme “Candy in The Land.”

The evening includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts, an open bar, live entertainment by local acts, dancing on the KeyBank State Theatre stage and games of chance. As attendees go through the lobbies and theaters, larger-than-life décor showcases the evening’s theme, which are all created by Partners members at “Shop Nights” in the weeks leading up to the event. “Elegance meets indulgence” for this sweet soiree, but costumes inspired by the theme are also encouraged.

Tickets are available for purchase at playhousesquare.org/jumpbackball. Guests can choose from general admission or late-night admission to the event. All funds from the event support Playhouse Square’s educational programming including the Dazzle Awards high school musical theater awards program; Disney Musicals in Schools, through which Playhouse Square plants sustainable musical theater programs in local elementary schools each year; and sensory-friendly programming.

Jump Back Ball is co-chaired by Partners members Megan McNulty and Sarah Shaw. The young professionals group focuses on developing leadership skills and building community connections while supporting Playhouse Square’s not-for-profit mission through fundraising and volunteer work. Membership information is available at playhousesquare.org/partners.
