MOBILE TICKET DELIVERY

Mobile delivery provides you with the most flexibility in managing your tickets. And no need to worry about leaving your tickets at home - they'll be right on your phone!

Below are instructions for how they are delivered and how you can add them to your iOS or Android mobile device. 

We strongly recommend: 

  • Adding your ticket(s) to your phone's digital wallet in advance of your performance
  • Making sure your mobile device has plenty of battery life before arriving at the theater
  • If you are attending with guests, we recommend sharing their tickets with them in advance.

 From your Ticket Order Confirmation Email to an Apple/iOS Device

FROM YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL

1. Open the Order Confirmation email on the mobile device you wish to store your tickets.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the email to see your tickets and click “Add to Apple Wallet”

3. Your default web browser will open. We recommend using either Safari or Google Chrome for best results.

4. Within the web browser, your tickets will open.

5. Click “Add” in the upper right-hand corner to add to your Apple Wallet.

(Note: you will have to repeat steps 2 thru 5 to add each ticket)

6. Open the Apple Wallet App (Please note: If you have any Debit or Credit Cards within your Wallet App, those will appear first. Scroll down to find your tickets. The Playhouse Square Logo and the date and time of your show will be visible).

7. If you have multiple tickets, swipe right to reveal the other tickets. Each barcode will need to be scanned.

 From your Online Account to an Apple/iOS Device

If you cannot locate your ticket confirmation email, you can always find your tickets in your Playhouse Square online account.

1. Go to playhousesquare.org on your Safari or Chrome browser on your mobile device.

2. Tap the menu button in the top left corner and log in to your Playhouse Square account.

3. Once logged in, tap the menu button in the top left corner and tap "My Account."

4. Tap "Events and Tickets" to see all of your upcoming shows by month.

5. Find your desired show by selecting the month and expanding the section. There you will see your show information and the "Add to Apple Wallet" icon.

6. Click “Add” in the upper right-hand corner to add to your Apple Wallet.

(Note: you will have to repeat steps 5 and 6 to add each ticket)

7. Open the Apple Wallet App (Please note: If you have any Debit or Credit Cards within your Wallet App, those will appear first. Scroll down to find your tickets. The Playhouse Square Logo and the date and time of your show will be visible).

From your Ticket Order Confirmation to an Android Device

To add your tickets to an Android mobile device, you will first need to download the Yourwallet app from the Google Play store.

1. Download the Yourwallet app before attempting to download your tickets.

2. Open the Order Confirmation email on your mobile device.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the email and tap  “Add to Apple Wallet."

4. Your default web browser will open. Tap open, and the ticket will be downloaded to your device.

(Note: You will need to repeat steps 2 - 4 for each ticket)

5. If you have more than one ticket, each ticket will download with the same name. Your device will ask “Do you want to download again?” Select “Download." The additional ticket(s) will be added to your account (repeat as needed).

6. Tap "Open" to view your ticket. And "Add to Wallet" to store for later.

Once all of your tickets have been added to your wallet, you can swipe through them. Each barcode will need to be scanned when entering the theater.

From your Online Account to an Android Device

To add your tickets to an Android mobile device, you must first download the Yourwallet app.

Download the Yourwallet app before attempting to download the tickets.

1. Go to playhousesquare.org on your mobile device's web browser. We recommend Google Chrome.

2. Tap the menu button in the top left corner and locate the "login" button.

3. Tap "login" and enter your username and password for your account.

4. Once logged in, tap the menu icon in the top left to reveal the "My Account" tab at the bottom of the screen. Tap to enter your account.

4. Tap the down arrow button next to "My Account" to reveal the menu. Find and tap "Events and Tickets" to see all of your upcoming shows by month.

5. Find your desired month show by selecting the month and expanding the section.

6. You will see your show information and the "Add to Apple Wallet" icon. Click “Add” in the upper right-hand corner to download your ticket.

7. Another browser window will open, showing you the downloaded file. Tap "Open" at the bottom of the web screen to show your ticket.

8. Once you see your tickets, tap "Add to Wallet" at the bottom of the screen.

9. Because each ticket will download with the same name, your device will ask, “Do you want to download again?” Select “Download" each time. The additional ticket(s) will be added to your account (repeat as necessary).

10. Each ticket will open in your browser, where you can tap "add to wallet."

11. Once added, swipe to reveal all of your tickets. Each barcode will need to be scanned upon entry to the theater.

💬 Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Playhouse Square switching to mobile tickets?

A shift to mobile ticket delivery will provide the most flexible way to receive and manage your Playhouse Square Tickets.

Mobile ticketing allows for: 

  • Quick and easy entry into Playhouse Square using your mobile device
  • Access to all your tickets on your mobile device

  • The ability to view or share your tickets at any time

  • Reduced worry about leaving your tickets at home

  • More sustainable practices and less paper waste

I've received the email that contains my mobile tickets. The link tells me to "add to Apple Wallet." What if I have an Android phone?

No problem! Playhouse Square digital tickets can be downloaded on both Apple and Android devices. Simply download the Yourwallet app on your Android phone and then click the "Add to Apple Wallet button" to proceed with downloading your tickets. The icon below still functions the same way for Android phones as it would for Apple phones.

Why haven't i received my tickets?

Please check the following:

  • Make sure your account has the correct email address.
  • Check your junk or spam email folder.
  • Make sure that your spam filter and junk mail settings allow you to receive emails with attachments.
  • Be sure to add our email address, tickets@playhousesquare.org, to your list of trusted email addresses.

Can I print my ticket from home?

No. All tickets are fully digital and only accessible on your mobile device. Your phone is your ticket.

What if something happens to my phone, or I have issues downloading my digital tickets?

We're here to help! Upon your arrival to the theater, you can come to the Playhouse Square Box Office, present a photo ID and we will assist you with your tickets.
